For over a century guests from near and far flocked to The Crooked Lake House for all kinds of occasions. The Oak Room became famous for its large fireplace, “oak” paneled walls and year round delicious food.
After a lengthy restoration and renovation The Old Daley on Crooked Lake opened it’s doors in the fall of 2010. Since then we have operated as an event venue for weddings and other special events. Although this type of business has been key in the survival of our beautiful building, it has not allowed the locals access to one of their favorite spots.
In the winter of 2015 we started Winter Dining in the Oakroom. For 10 weeks from mid January through March locals and guests from the expanded Capital District are able to enjoy delicious food and cocktails in a very warm and inviting setting. Whether you stop by for cocktails at the big oak bar or are dining in front of one of the fireplaces in either the Oak Room or The Great Room, you are sure to have a wonderful experience.
